Meter Interface Module

The Electric Meters used in the project will be the Electro Mechanical Meters which are installed in Pakistan. The system uses the existing meters by attaching a meter interface module to it. This will reduce the cost of installing new meters. 
To send the meter readings on the power line the readings have to be converted into digital data for which the meter interface module is required. The meter interface module consists of three main components:
1.    Sensor Circuit
2.    Microcontroller
3.    Power Line Modem
